Robbie Gordon joined the Oklahoma State football staff as assistnat inside linebackers coach in December of 2025.

He came to OSU from North Texas, where he worked in recruiting in 2022, quality control in 2023 and as assistant linebackers coach in 2024 and 2025.

Gordon, a North Texas Football letterman, returned to Denton following one season at Newman Smith High School in Carrolton in 2021. He served as defensive coordinator and secondary coach.

The Ardmore, Oklahoma, native was also briefly at Texas Wesleyan during the spring of 2022.

He spent the 2020 season as a defensive assistant at Prosper Rock Hill after coaching in 2019 at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. From 2015-18, Gordon was an assistant coach at Frisco Wakeland after spending 2013-14 at Stafford Middle School in Frisco ISD.

Gordon lettered at UNT as a defensive back from 2007-10 and earned his degree in 2011. He is married to the former Angela Thomas. The couple has two children, Braylon and Ryan.
