Jerson attended Northeastern State University for undergraduate school from 2011-2016. There, he graduated with a degree in political science. During his time at Northeastern State, he was a student-athlete on the men's soccer team.
He then attended the University of Tulsa College of Law from 2016-19 and graduated with his juris doctor in May of 2019. He is currently an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and have been since September of 2019.
During his time in law school, h interned in both the compliance and development offices at Oral Roberts University from 2018-2019. He started as the compliance coordinator in July 2019 at Oklahoma State University and was later promoted to director of compliance in July of 2022.
