Bryan Holmgren serves as the primary media contact and chief story-teller for Cowboy Basketball.

Holmgren arrived in Stillwater in June, 2023 after nine years at Wichita State where he was the director of communications and men’s basketball contact. During his time at WSU, the Shockers won four conference titles and appeared in five NCAA tournaments.

Prior to WSU, Holmgren spent two years as Director of Athletic Communications at Northwestern Oklahoma State and five years as a sports reporter at Wichita’s CBS affiliate, KWCH-TV.

Holmgren ran track at Wheaton College (Ill.) while earning a degree in Communications. He and his wife, Megan, have three children: Glory, Georgia and Shepherd.
