Oklahoma State added Ally Jackson to its soccer staff as the program’s player development coordinator in March 2024.
A former star for the Cowgirls, Jackson is responsible for creating and delivering programs to support and develop life skills for the Cowgirls while also working closely with academic services and the coaching staff to ensure success on and off the field.
“I am incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity,” Jackson said. “Having worn the jersey for five years and working with the OSU athletic department on marketing and fan engagement over the last year, I have developed a deep love and understanding for this program and its values. I am committed to leveraging this experience to help our players reach their full potential on and off the field. I look forward to collaborating with Colin and the rest of our staff to continue Cowgirl Soccer’s tradition of excellence.”
Jackson starred for the Cowgirls from 2018-22, where she played in 94 games and started 83, both of which rank second in program history. She led OSU in minutes played among field players in each of her final four seasons.
A native of Allen, Texas, Jackson helped lead OSU to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances and a Big 12 championship in 2019. She capped her career by earning All-Big 12 honors as a defender in 2022.
Jackson was also a standout in the classroom where she was an Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree four times and earned academic all-district and all-region accolades as a senior. She graduated with degrees from OSU in management and marketing in December 2021.
Following her playing career, Jackson joined the OSU Athletics Marketing & Fan Engagement department, where she worked with soccer, equestrian and tennis and was in charge of Pistol Pete’s Partners.
“We’re very excited to add Ally to our staff,” said OSU head coach Colin Carmichael. “During Ally’s playing career with us, she excelled on the field, in the classroom and as a leader in our program. She brings understanding of what it takes to compete and be successful as a student-athlete at Oklahoma State. Her recent experience in our marketing department will also be very helpful to us as we look to promote our program and increase our fan, alumni and donor engagement.
“I am thrilled that we have been able to add two of our former players to our staff. I believe that the makeup of our coaching and support staff will allow us to continue the tradition of excellence we have built with OSU Soccer.”
