2021-22: Did not compete as a senior.
2020-21: Put together a 4-2 record as a junior competing in extra matches … Three of his four wins came via bonus points as he began his season with a 1:59 fall of Little Rock’s Tanner Mendoza and added two major decisions … Took No. 10 Hayden Hastings of Wyoming to the wire in a close 5-2 defeat at the Cowboy Challenge Tournament.
2019-20: Went 1-1 in his redshirt sophomore season competing only at the Lindenwood Open… Picked up a 0:33 fall for his only win of the season.
2018-19: Went 11-8 in his redshirt freshman campaign at 174 pounds… Claimed fourth place at the OCU Open and Bob Smith Open… Collected three falls and two major decisions on the year… Competed at the Reno Tournament of Champions and Southern Scuffle… Went undefeated in dual action, making his first dual appearance at home when the Pokes faced Air Force on Feb. 8… Won his dual bout against Randy Meneweather II (AF), 4-3.
2017-18 (Redshirt Year): Went 6-1 overall, competing only in the Golden Norsemen Open where he finished third... Sat out for the majority of the season with injuries.
High School: Turned in a 212-17 overall record at Stillwater High School under head coach Doug Chesbro … Took home the state title in 2016 at 160 pounds … Was a three-time Junior National Team member … Was a four-time placer at the state championships … Earned All-State honors in 2017 … Was a two-sport athlete, also competing in football … In football, was an Oklahoma All-State wide receiver, MVP of the team and Stillwater Male Athlete of the Year … Was all-conference in both football and wrestling.
