Earned runner-up finishes in back-to-back meets in the Steeplechase at the Arkansas Spring and John McDonnell Invitationals… Set a new personal best in the 1,500 Meters of 3:50.43 at the Arkansas Twilight.

Set his personal best in the Mile of 4:05.53 at the Razorback Invitational… Followed up that performance with another personal best in the 3,000 Meters of 8:18.54 at the Tyson Invitational.
2024 Cross Country
Competed twice during the cross country season, setting new 5K and 8K personal bests at the Cowboy Preview and Cowboy Jamboree, respectively.

Opened his freshman outdoor season with a third-place finish in the 1,500 Meters… Set a new personal best in the 5,000 Meters of 14:49.37 at the John Jacobs Invitational… At the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, Barr placed 12th overall in the Steeplechase.

Ran at the Cowboy Preview and Cowboy Jamboree… Placed 38th at the Cowboy Preview with a personal-best 5K time on the grass of 16:30.9… Clocked a time of 26:59 in the 8K at the Jamboree.

Competed at the Razorback Invitational in the Mile, running 4:16.61.

Ran unattached in the Cowboy Jamboree and the Weis-Crockett Invitational, finishing the 8K race in 26:29.6 and 26:39.1, respectively.
