Represents his home country of Great Britain on the international stage… Placed 25th at the European U20 Cross Country Championships in Turin, Italy, helping Team GB win the team title… Ran at the World U20 Cross Country Championships in Bathurst Australia, placing 26th overall.

2026 Outdoors
Continued his upward momentum with a nearly two-minute PR in the 10,000 Meters at the Stanford Invitational to open his season, clocking a time of 28:22.94, which ranked eighth in program history… Also competed at the Big 12 Championships in the 5K and the NCAA West First Round in the 10K.
2026 Indoors
Opened the indoor campaign with a massive personal best in the 3,000 Meters with his time of 7:53.93 at the Razorback Invitational… Competed in the 3,000 and 5,000 Meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, earning his first career All-Big 12 honor with his fourth-place finish in the 5K with a mark of 13:53.17.
2025 Cross Country
At the Cowboy Preview to open the season, Deacon took third overall with a 5K time of 15:05.1 to help the Cowboys upend the rival Oklahoma Sooners 29-32… Scored as the fifth Cowboy across the line at the Cowboy Jamboree as the OSU men defeated No. 2 New Mexico by five points… Placed 23rd at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships with a new 8K personal best of 23:33.9 as the Cowboys secured their 14th conference title in the last 18 years… Competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional to help the Cowboys secure an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships.
2025 Outdoors
Opened his outdoor season placing eighth at the Stanford Invitational in the 5,000 Meters… Set a new personal best in the 5K at the Payton Jordan Invitational three weeks later with his time of 13:51.80… Placed 10th overall in the 10,000 Meters at the Big 12 Championships.
2025 Indoors
Kicked off his freshman indoor campaign with a PR in the Mile before placing seventh in the 3,000 Meters at the Tyson Invitational… Shattered his PR in the 3K at the Arkansas Qualifier, clocking a time of 8:03.83 at the Arkansas Qualifier… Competed in the 3,000 and 5,000 Meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
2024 Cross Country
Completed a solid freshman cross country season, running in a pair of postseason meets in the Big 12 Championships and NCAA Midwest Regionals, placing 33rd at the latter, which would have scored on every team in the region besides OSU and Iowa State.
High School
Attended St. Augustine’s RC High School in Billington, England… Earned seven letters in high school and was the Northern Region and Lancashire Cross Country Champion.

Born January 31, 2005, in Blackburn, England… Son of Paul and Rachael Deacon… Competed in Rugby and Triathlons until the age of 14… Majoring in Exercise Science.
