Picked up two more All-Big 12 awards in the 5,000 and 10,000 Meters as he earned four points in the team race for OSU.
2022 Indoors
Competed at the Husky Classic before making his mark at the Big 12 Indoor Championships… Earned two All-Big 12 honors in the 3,000 and 5,000 Meters on his way to earning seven vital points for the Cowboys in the team race.
2021 Cross Country
Cemented his place alongside the long list of Cowboy distance legends during the 2021-22 season… Was awarded the first of his two Big 12 Runner of the Week awards following his victory at the season-opening Cowboy Preview, finishing with a 5K time of 15:03.8… Rodriguez put on one of the most dominant displays in Cowboy cross country history at the Cowboy Jamboree, defeating a loaded field including the defending national champions, by 31 seconds en route to shattering the course record with an 8K time of 23:05.8… For his efforts at the Cowboy Jamboree, he was awarded USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week along with Big 12 Runner of the Week for the second time this season and third time overall… Finished as the Big 12 runner-up at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, earning All-Big 12 honors for the fourth time in his illustrious career… Helped the Cowboys to a Midwest Region Championship to earn their automatic qualifying berth to the NCAA Cross Country Championships… Earned his third career All-America honor in cross country as he finished 22nd overall, leading the Cowboys to a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships for the second straight year.
2021 Outdoors
Performed spectacularly throughout his sophomore outdoor season with the Pokes… opened things up with a win in the 10,000 meters at the Texas Relays… broke the Mike A. Myers Stadium facility record with his 28:08.70 finish… collected his second facility record of the season with the event win in the 5,000 meters at the Joe Walker Invitational… his 13:41.02 pace marked the fastest ever at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex and a lifetime best for Rodriguez… contributed to the Cowboy 4x1600 meter relay unit that finished in the runner-up spot at the Drake Relays… earned All-Big 12 honors thanks to a sixth-place finish in the 5,000 meters… punched his ticket to the NCAA Championship with a sixth-place performance at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Championships… ended his season on the national stage with a meet-record breaking, 10th-place, 27:52.92 finish that earned him second-team All-America honors.
2021 Indoors
Racked up a pair of All-Big 12 honors in both the 3,000 meters, in which he finished third in a time of 8:07.28, and the 5,000 meters, where he turned in a runner-up, 13:55.85 performance.
2020 Cross Country
Led the Cowboys across the finish line in every race of the 2020 season… finished runner-up at the Cowboy Jamboree (24:01.4)… tabbed a fifth-place performance at the OSU Invitational (23:47.8)… turned in a runner-up, 22:49.3 personal best pace at the Big 12 Championships that boosted the Pokes to the tie-breaker championship win over Iowa State… earned the second cross country All-America honors of his career on account of his eighth-place finish in the NCAA Cross Country Championships, and in doing so, led the Cowboys to the third-place team finish.
2019 Cross Country
Helped Cowboys score points in each of the three meets in which he competed… placed second at the Big 12 Championships, coming in at 23:39.5… took third at the Pre-National Invitational with a time of 23:23.8.
2019 Indoors
Ran four races for OSU… Finished third in the mile at the Razorback Invitational… Turned in runner-up performances in the 3,000 meters with a personal-best time of 8:16.46 and the 5,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships to earn all-conference status in both events.
2018 Cross Country
Competed in four races for the Cowboys and secured top-four finishes in each of them… finished second at the Arturo Barrios Invitational… ran his way to a second-place finish at the Big 12 Championships to earn All-Conference?honors… also came in second place at the NCAA Midwest Regional… capped off his season with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships to earn First Team All-American status and lead the Cowboys to a 13th-place team finish.
2018 Outdoors
Ran four times for the Cowboys… Opened with a victory at the Stanford Invitational in the 5,000 meters… Came in third in the 5,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships… Made it to the West Regional where he ran a season-best time of 13:53.73 in the 5,000 meters.
2018 Indoors
Ran in two races… Came in second in the Mile at the Texas Tech Corky Classic… Finished 18th in the Mile with a season-best time of 4:10.26 at the Razorback Invitational.
