Appeared at four meets including the Big 12 Championships… Placed ninth at the Weis-Crockett Invitational with his time of 24:44.5… Ran a new personal-best 8K time of 23:50.4 at the Big 12 Cross Country Championships.

Competed four times for the Cowboys during his freshman outdoor season… Set his personal best in the 5,000 Meters with his time of 14:16.81 at the Stanford Invitational to open the season… Ran his personal best of 3:53.95 in the 1,500 Meters at the Arkansas Twilight to wrap up the regular season… Competed at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the 5K.

Attended Knox Grammar School in Sydney, Australia… Won the gold medal at the New South Wales Junior Championships in the 3,000 Meters… Also won the NSW Short Course U20 Championships gold medal… Played Australian Rules Football and Cricket and competed in Triathlons for three years, earning a silver medal at the NSW Junior All-Schools Championships.
