2022 Indoor All-Big 12 (600 Yards, 4x400 Relay)
2022 Outdoors
Solidified his place as one of OSU’s most dependable middle-distance runners during the outdoor season... Ran the opening leg of OSU’s school-record breaking 4x400 Meter Relay, taking down a 39-year-old record with a time of 3:05.51 at the Texas Relays... Earned a pair of third-place finishes at the Baylor Invitational in the 800 Meters and 4x400 Meter Relay... Helped the Cowboys to a seventh-place finish in the 4x800 Meter Relay at the Drake Relays... Placed 21st overall in the 800 Meters at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... Again ran the opening leg of the Cowboy 4x400 Meter squad that placed 15th at the NCAA West Prelims.
2022 Indoors
Competed at four meets during his first indoor season with the Cowboys... Ran primarily in the 600 Yards and 4x400 Meter Relay... Picked up a top-5 finish in the 4x400 Meter Relay as the opening leg at the Razorback Invitational... Had his most successful meet when it mattered most at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... Ran the third-fastest 600 Yard time in school history in the prelims with a time of 1:09.27... Earned his first two career All-Big 12 honors in the 600 Yards and the 4x400 Meter Relay with the latter also being the third-fastest time in program history.
Prior to OSU
Transfer from Indian Hills Community College… Attended Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia. Lettered all four years in track and once in football. Was a 7A State Champion once, Regional Champion three times, All-County two times and was his school district’s Athlete of the Year. Earned NJCAA All-American honors twice, All-Region four times, Region Champion two times was the NJCAA Athlete of the Week.
Personal
Son of Jerome and Brenda Berry… Majoring in Kinesiology/Exercise Science and enjoys graphic designing in his free time... Has a host of family that played collegiate sports, most notably Kenny Walker who played Basketball for the University of Kentucky and played for the New York Knicks.
