HIGH SCHOOL: Went 5-1 with a save and a 1.34 ERA and tallied 70 strikeouts in 47 innings as a senior at Enid High School … earned all-state honors and led Plainsmen to Class 6A state runner-up finish ... threw a no-hitter vs. Westmoore in the state tournament quarterfinals, striking out 10 in six innings … also hit .387 with 29 RBIs and 13 stolen bases.
