Heath Holliday joined the Oklahoma State staff as the program’s director of baseball operations in August 2015.
Holliday returned to his alma mater following a season as video coordinator at Auburn. During his tenure with the Tigers, he performed various video duties, while also assisting with scouting reports, recruiting and daily baseball operations.
A 2014 graduate of OSU with a degree in business management, Holliday appeared in four games for the Cowboys as a senior during the ’14 season.
Holliday, a native of Bixby, Okla. who was drafted in the 45th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft following high school, began his collegiate playing career at Connors State, where he played two seasons before transferring to Cumberland University and starting 17 games as a junior.
Following his OSU career, Holliday played professionally for the Laredo Lemurs of the American Association Independent League under manager and former Cowboy great Pete Incaviglia.
Holliday has a long list of OSU connections. His father, Dave, and uncle, Tom, both served on Cowboy coaching staffs, and his cousin, Josh, is the program’s current head coach. He is also the cousin of current New York Yankees All-Star outfielder Matt Holliday.
