2023: Collected Freshman All-America honors from the NCBWA … was a semifinalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award … named to the All-Big 12 First Team as a utility player and earned second-team honors as an outfielder … unanimous selection to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team … played in 58 games, starting 52 … made 37 starts in right field, 14 at DH and one in center field, along with 10 starts on the mound … led the Cowboys in batting average and on-base percentage … also had a team-high 23 multi-hit games … posted a .365 batting average in Big 12 play … went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in collegiate debut vs. Missouri (2/17) … made first pitching appearance with a start against Austin Peay (3/2) … worked two scoreless innings and posted a pair of strikeouts … smashed first two home runs of career in a 3-for-5, four-RBI day against Austin Peay (3/5) … recorded first-career win vs. Wichita State (3/22) … allowed one run on three hits while striking out five in five innings … went 7-for-15 with seven RBIs in a series sweep of Baylor … tied a career-high with three hits in the opener (3/24) and tallied a career-best five RBIs with a pair of homers in game two (3/25) … earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors on March 27 … racked up a career-high nine strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings vs. Oral Roberts (5/2) … earned win in series clinching game vs. Kansas State (5/14), striking out four in five innings … was 4-for-7 with a pair of walks in the NCAA Stillwater Regional and was named to the all-tournament team.
