2015: Made 12 relief appearances … earned win against Missouri State (2/25) with two scoreless innings in which he struck out three … recorded two strikeouts in one inning of scoreless work against top-ranked TCU (2/21) … an Academic All-Big 12 First Team performer.
2014: Pitched in 28 games, coming out of the bullpen in each ... worked 3.2 innings to earn the win in season opener vs. Incarnate Word (2/14) ... tied a career high with four strikeouts in the game and allowed just one run ... also recorded four strikeouts at Baylor (3/21) in 2.1 scoreless frames ... picked up the win at Texas (4/26) with one inning of scoreless work ... in that game, came on with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth in a 1-1 game and pitched out of the jam ... also picked up wins against Arizona State (5/2) and in an elimination game at the Big 12 Baseball Championship vs. Oklahoma (5/23) ... an Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honoree.
2013: Made 16 appearances, all in relief ... worked 0.1 inning in first collegiate game and recorded a strikeout at New Mexico (2/16) ... set career highs for strikeouts (4) and innings pitched (3.2) against Loyola Marymount ... earned first win of career against Iona (3/17) ... tossed two shutout innings and struck out three ... struck out all three batters he faced to help Cowboys defeat Kansas State (4/19) ... had three strikeouts in two scoreless innings against Miami in NCAA Louisville Regional (5/31).
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished prep career 28-7 with a 0.97 ERA and 243 strikeouts in 208.2 innings of work … also hit .428 with 88 RBIs … was 8-1 with a 0.44 ERA as a senior … racked up 97 strikeouts in 63 innings… tossed two no-hitters and four one-hitters … also hit .438 … was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Team … was conference pitcher of the year … went 10-1 as a junior … also recruited by Oral Roberts and Arkansas.
