Sports Medicine Student Aides
Are you an undergraduate student interested in athletic training, physical therapy, or a career in sports medicine? Join the Oklahoma State University Football Sports Medicine team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic collegiate athletics environment.
This is a paid student position within the Athletics Department that offers real-world exposure, mentorship from certified athletic trainers, and valuable professional development for those pursuing careers in sports medicine.

What You’ll Do
As a Sports Medicine Aide, you’ll play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the athletic training room and practice field. Your responsibilities will include:

Treatment & Maintenance: Assist with preventative care, basic first aid, and general training room duties
Pre-Practice Prep: Help with set-up of practice medical stations and hydration stations, and athlete preventative taping.
During Practice: Assist with hydration, assist with first aid, and alert staff to any injury concerns
Post-Practice: Tear down, clean up, and assist with restocking supplies

This role is physically active and may involve lifting equipment like water coolers, treatment tables, or exercise machines. It also requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday events.
