Oklahoma State University Athletics
Graduate Immersive Rotations

Using a medical-based education model, athletic training students are educated to provide comprehensive patient care in five domains of clinical practice: prevention; clinical evaluation and diagnosis; immediate and emergency care; treatment and rehabilitation; and organization and professional health and well-being.
Â
Athletic Training Students participate in extensive clinical affiliations with the active population under the direct supervision of a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC®) or appropriate healthcare provider (aka. Preceptor). These fully immersive clinical rotations provide the student the opportunity to gain experience with a diverse group of patient populations to prepare them for the wide array of career options available following graduation.
