Youth Movement Field Day
Oklahoma State's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has partnered with Nike's N7 Youth Movement to host the 7th annual Oklahoma State Youth Movement 2023Â to celebrate the community that is such a large part of the state's history and heritage.Â
SAAC will host their educational and active field day for Native American students around the state of Oklahoma in grades 3rd-8th. The morning will be filled with field day stations that encourage movement, play, and fun as well as special guest speakers. It will be a great way for young Native American students to be inspired to be healthy active members of their tribe now and in the future. Students will receive a free goodie bag for attending!
Goal of N7 Youth Movement
"OUR MISSION IS TO IGNITE A GENERATION TO BE ACTIVE, EDUCATED, AND CONNECTED TO THE POWER OF COMMUNITY"
The goal of our event is to bring Native American youth together from across the state to celebrate culture and promote a healthy active lifestyle. N7 believes that when one generation realizes their potential, future generations can feel the impact and be much stronger for it. The Youth Movement Field Day 2022Â strives to enable the 7th generation to realize their potential as athletes, students, and community leaders. This day is a celebration of the rich histories of Oklahoma's Native American tribes and empowering youth to build new friendships through sport.
