2024 Outdoors
Opened his outdoor campaign with a ninth-place finish at the Stanford Invitational in the 5K… Won the 5K at the Payton Jordan Invitational with a personal-best time of 13:43.32… Competed at the Big 12 Championships in the 5K, placing 18th overall… Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the 5,000 Meters.
2023 Cross Country
Solidified himself as a consistent starter for the Cowboy national championship squad, competing in every race during the season… Scored for the Cowboys at the Cowboy Jamboree, placing ninth overall… Produced the best race of his career at the Big 12 Championships, finishing as the fourth scorer for OSU with his eighth-place finish overall… His 8K time of 23:04.3 at the Big 12 Championships was also the fifth fastest in program history on the grass… At the NCAA Championships, Muirhead placed 85th overall with a 10K time of 30:25.9 as the Cowboys took home their fifth NCAA title in program history.
2023 Indoors
Had a breakout indoor season in just three indoor meets… Set a new personal best in the Mile with his time of 4:01.52 at the Razorback Invitational… Came back two weeks later and set another personal best in the 3,000 Meters, clocking a time of 7:52.90, which ranks tenth in program history… Earned All-Big 12 honors in the 5,000 Meters, finishing third overall with his time of 14:18.78 helping the Cowboys earn a second-place finish in the team race.
2022 Cross Country
Cornerstone of OSU’s dominant 2022 Cross Country Season, contributing scoring placements in three races… Kicked off the season at the Cowboy Preview, where his 14:57.1 5K time pushed him to fourth place, his highest placement for Cross Country in his career… He was the second-lowest scoring Cowboy for OSU in the race that saw four Cowboys place in the top 10… Rounded out the scoring for OSU at the Cowboy Jamboree, scoring a then personal best time in the 8K at 24:11.5… He would best that time in the next meet, going sub-24 minutes for the first time in his career at the Weis-Crockett Invitational… Earned All-Big 12 recognition as he returned to the Big 12 Cross Country Championships with an 11th place finish, and was one of nine Cowboys to finish in the top 15 as OSU took home the team victory… Ran his first 10K at the NCAA Championships, crossing the finish line in 30:31.4.
2022 Outdoors
Appeared at five meets during the 2022 campaign, earning three top-2 finishes in the process… Opened his season at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., finishing 18th overall in the 5,000 Meters with a personal-best time of 13:55.75… Picked up a runner-up finish two weeks later at the Sooner Invitational in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase… Won his first collegiate race at the Arkansas Twilight to round out his regular season with a personal-best time of 8:49.03 in the Steeplechase… Picked up his second career All-Big 12 award with his second-place finish in the Steeplechase… Competed at the NCAA West Prelims in the Steeplechase to finish his sophomore season.
2022 Indoors
Competed at six meets for OSU during the indoor season… Kicked off his season at the Wooo Pig Classic in Fayetteville, Ark., earning a runner-up finish in the 3,000 Meters with a time of 8:19.90… Had another top-5 effort at the Arkansas Invitational in the Mile, finishing third overall with a time of 4:05.70… Set his current personal best in the Mile at the Husky Classic in Seattle, clocking a time of 4:02.26… Earned his first career All-Big 12 finish in the Mile at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
2021 Cross Country
Competed unattached at the Cowboy Jamboree, earning a 36th-place finish with an 8K time of 25:44.8.
2020 Cross Country
Earned top-20 finishes at the Cowboy Jamboree and the OSU Winter Open… tabbed a career best 8K at the Big 12 Conference Championships, where his 24:34.2 pace placed him 30th.
High School
A four-year letter winner at Lovejoy High School … competed in the 1,600, 3,200 and 5K … was a two-time all-state performer in cross country.
