2015 Outdoors: Became the 10th Cowboy in school history to win a National title... Was the second Cowboy to win a 1,500-meter title (3:54.96)... Finished his final outdoor season with an unblemished record, winning every final he ran in... Won his fourth Big 12 title and second-straight 1,500-meter conference title... Set a personal best in the 1,500 with a 3:38.35 at the Payton Jordan Invitational, giving him the third fastest time in school history.
2015 Indoors: Won his second and third Big 12 titles as a member of the distance medley relay team and in the open mile run... Ran the second fastest mile in OSU history (3:57.78) to secure a spot in the NCAA Championships where he went on to finish fifth... Set a personal best in the 3,000-meter run (7:56.76) that was good enough to give him the tenth best time in school history... Scored a combined 23 points for the Cowboys with this two wins and sixth place finish in the 3,000-meter final at the Big 12 Championships.
2014 Outdoors: Won the Big 12 title in the 1,500 meters, with a time of 3:55.00. It was the first conference title of his career ... Won the elite division of the 1,500 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays, beating a myriad of professional runners in the process, with a time of 3:40.06, good enough for No. 6 in the NCAA and third all-time at OSU ... Was a favorite to contend for the 1,500 meter national title before suffering a disqualification at the West Region Preliminaries.
2014 Indoors: Became the eighth Cowboy to run a sub four-minute indoor mile, clocking a 3:59.12 at the Iowa State Classic, taking sixth ... Broke the OSU record in the 1,000 meters with a 2:22.55 to take second at the Big 12 Championships ... Part of OSU’s All-American Distance Medley Relay, which placed 12th at the NCAA Championships ... Was third in the trio that went 1-2-3 in the 3,000 meters at the Razorback Invite, with a time of 7:59.64.
2013 Cross Country: Placed third at the four-mile Hurricane Festival, running a 20:31 ... Picked up another top-10 finish, taking seventh, at the Bluegrass Invitational (24:11.16) ... Finished 18th at the Big 12 Championships, with a time of 23:45.5.
2013 Outdoors (Oregon): Ran the 1,500 meters in 3:45.43 to take ninth place at the NCAA West Preliminary, and then just missed out on the NCAA 1,500 meter final after taking 13th in the semifinals, with a 3:42.80.
2013 Indoors (Oregon): Ran the mile in 3:59.57 at the Husky Classic, which was good enough for the 29th-best time in the nation.
2012 Cross Country (Oregon): - Only competed in the Pac-12 Conference Championships and completed the 8,000 meter race with a time of 25:24.
2012 Outdoors (Oregon): Pac-12 scorer and U.S. Junior Championships qualifier at 1,500 meters ... Solid rookie campaign in the 1,500 meters began with a third place finish at the Pepsi Team Invitational (3:47.55) ... Huge seasonal best of 3:45.89 came in the semifinals of the Pac-12 meet to advance to the finals where he ran eighth in 3:49.46 to help Oregon win its sixth straight league title ... Advanced to the quarterfinals at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds where he just missed out on a trip to the NCAA Championships ... Capped season with a third place finish at the U.S. Junior Championships (3:46.69) ... Impressive run in the 800 meters at the Oregon Twilight (1:50.64).
High School: Senior year included a win at the 2010 Northeast Foot Locker cross country championships and a 10th-place finish at the Foot Locker Nationals (15.25), as well as a state title on the track at 1,600 meters. Terrific performance at the 2011 New York state meet where he won the 1,600 meters (4:11.17) and was the runner-up at 3,200 meters (8:59.03). Earlier in the season, won the 3,200 meters at the Glenn D. Loucks Games in a personal-best 8:56.02 and was the runner-up in the mile at the Penn Relays (4:10.83). Also placed fifth in the two-mile at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals (9:02.71). Indoors, won the high school mile at the Millrose Games in 4:16.71. Was also the New York runner-up at both 1,600 meters (4:11.97) and 3,200 meters (9:04.77) at the state championships as a junior in 2010.
