2013 Outdoors: Started his season with a bang, finishing third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational. His time of 8:56.14 was the No. 12 time in the NCAA at the time ... Earned All-Big 12 honors after finishing fifth in the steeplechase, in 9:00.44 ... Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary, and nearly equaled his personal best when he ran an 8:56.39 in Austin, good enough for 24th.
2013 Indoors: Secured All-Big 12 honors with a fifth-place finish in the 1,000 meters, running the race in a personal-best 2:26.09 ... That mark was ninth in school history ... Hit a new personal best in the mile with a 4:06.79 at the Razorback Invitational ... His 8:18.45 in the 3,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships was good for a 16th-place finish in the race and a new personal best.
2012 Cross Country: Individual champion at the Hurricane Festival, running the four-mile course in 20:35 ... Placed 31st at the Big 12 Championships in 24:52.9 ... Was solid at both the Chile Pepper Festival (18th place in 31:03.6) and the Cowboy Jamboree (25th place in 25:22.49) ... A second-team Academic All-Big 12 honoree.
2012 Outdoors: NCAA West Preliminary Rounds qualifier in the 3,000 meter steeplechase but did not finish his race at the regional meet after sustaining a knee injury ... Earned the second all-Big 12 honor of his career when he set a new personal best by running the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 8:58.21 at the Big 12 Championships to place fifth at the meet ... Was timed at 8:58.28 at the Stanford Invitational ... Competed in the 1,500 meters at three meets, with his best time of the season a 3:52.67 at the Arkansas Twilight Meet.
2012 Indoors: Placed 32nd in the 3,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships, running an 8:26.77 ... Finished 16th in the 1,000-meter preliminary race with a time of 2:28.26 ... Placed first in the 1,000-meter run at the Oklahoma Invitational after clocking a 2:31.92 ... Season-best mile time was 4:17.89 at the Tyson Invitational ... Ran a 4:19.66 in the mile at the Razorback Invitational, where he placed 24th ... Came in ninth in the mile run at the KSU Invitational with a time of 4:28.20.
2011 Cross Country: Suited up for three races, highlighted by a top-10 finish at the four-mile Hurricane Festival, where he was 10th in 21:01 ... Was 52nd at the 10,000-meter Chile Pepper Festival in 30:29.4 ... Placed 87th at the 8,000-meter Cowboy Jamboree in 25:36.38.
2011 Outdoors: Season-best 3,000 meter steeplechase time was a 9:02.51 at the Stanford Invitational ... Recorded a 9:07.01 in the steeplechase during the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds to finish 26th ... Finished 11th in the steeplechase during the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a time of 9:17.26 ... Clocked at 4:02.97 in the 1,500 meters at the Razorback Invitational and recorded a 6:04.89 in the 2,000 meter steeplechase at the Tulsa Duels.
2011 Indoors: Ran three races at the Big 12 Championships ... Placed 17th in the 3,000 meters with an 8:25.40, did not make it past the prelims in the mile with his 4:11.98 and ran as part of the Cowboy distance medley relay squad that placed fifth in 9:52.59 ... Season-best time in the mile was a 4:10.82 at the Husky Classic ... Also ran a 4:17.07 at the Razorback Invitational ... Timed at 2:00.01 in the 800 meters at the Kansas State Invitational.
2010 Cross Country: Competed twice as part of the Cowboys' NCAA and Big 12-champion season, logging a 13th-place finish at the four-mile Hurricane Invitational in 20:19 and a 43rd-place finish at the 8,000-meter Cowboy Jamboree in 26:11.68.
2010 Outdoors: Turned in an all-Big 12 performance in the steeplechase with a 9:07.06 that was good for a sixth-place finish at the conference meet ... Ran the same race in 9:13.76 at the Mt. SAC Relays and in 9:14.53 at the Stanford Invitational ... Also competed in the 1,500 meters, posting a 3:54.69 at the Arkansas Twilight meet and a 3:59.01 at the John McDonnell Invitational ... Fifth-place finisher in the 1,500 meters and sixth-place finisher in the steeplechase at the USA Track and Field Junior National Championships ... His 3:51.59 in the 1,500 meters set a personal best.
2010 Indoors: Placed 22nd in the 3,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships with an 8:26.72 ... Ran the same distance in 8:40.19 at the Razorback Invitational ... Competed in the mile at both the Wichita State Invitational and the Sooner Open, clocking a 4:34.36 in Wichita and a 4:37.17 in Norman.
2009 Cross Country: Did not compete for OSU, but did suit up for Team USA at the NACAC Cross Country Championships in Trinidad, where he placed 16th to help the Americans to a second-place finish at the event ... Placed ninth at the USA Cross Country Junior National Championships in Spokane.
High School: Oklahoma Gatorade Runner of the Year ... Doubled at the state meet his senior year, winning the Oklahoma state title in the 1,600 meters and the 3,200 meters ... Three-time all-state selection in cross country (2006, 2007, 2008) ... State runner-up in cross country his senior year.
