JUNIOR COLLEGE: Coming off a season in which he hit .355 with 20 home runs and 69 RBIs at McLennan … also had 17 doubles and five triples … led Highlanders to the NJCAA Division I national championship … hit .286 with five doubles, three home runs and 21 RBIs in 24 games in 2020 … as a freshman in 2019, he turned in a .335 batting average to go along with eight doubles, four triples, nine homers and 47 RBIs … was also recruited by Auburn, Kentucky, Oregon and Missouri.
HIGH SCHOOL: An all-state performer at Standley Lake HS … hit .421 with seven homers, 26 RBIs and seven stolen bases as a senior … drafted in the 22nd round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles … was a state champion high jumper … also selected to all-state teams in basketball and track.
