IRVING, Texas – Kollin Ritchie and Alex Conover highlight six Oklahoma State Cowboys earning 2026 All-Big 12 Baseball accolades.
Ritchie and Conover were tabbed All-Big 12 First Team outfielders, while infielder Aidan Meola and starting pitcher Ethan Lund were All-Big 12 Second Team selections. Infielder Brock Thompson and pitcher Stormy Rhodes earned Honorable Mention All-Big 12 status. The All-Big 12 teams and awards were selected by the league's head coaches.
OSU now counts 243 All-Big 12 selections all time, the most of any program in Big 12 history. Of those, 63 Cowboys have earned first-team honors. In 14 seasons under head coach Josh Holliday, 115 Cowboys have been named All-Big 12.
A junior, Ritchie is one of the nation's top sluggers and has been named a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Trophy.
Ritchie enters the postseason with a .347 batting average, and he is second nationally with 29 home runs, the most by a Cowboy since 1999 and the fourth most in a season in program history. He also ranks in the top 10 in the NCAA in RBIs (73), total bases (173), slugging percentage (.856) and runs (73).
Conover, also a junior, has been the Pokes' most consistent hitter with a team-high .391 batting average, which is the second highest in the Big 12, to go along with 14 doubles, 14 homers, 35 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. He also leads the club with a .504 on-base percentage.
In league play, Conover boasted a scorching .416 batting average and tallied nine doubles, 11 homers, 24 RBIs and a .752 slugging percentage.
Meola is enjoying a career year in his final season in Stillwater. The third baseman has played in 48 games, the most in any of his five seasons, and posted career highs in homers (17) and RBIs (68).
Sporting a .317 batting average, Meola ranks sixth nationally with 1.42 RBIs per game, and his knack for clutch hitting has resulted in a team-high 37 RBIs with two outs.
Lund has led the Cowboys' weekend starting rotation for much of the season and owns a 5-1 record while putting up some of the nation's top strikeout numbers.
The sophomore southpaw has racked up 119 strikeouts, which ranks third nationally, and his 15.08 strikeouts per nine innings is second in the NCAA.
Thompson has been a mainstay near the top of the batting order and is hitting .299 with a team-leading 17 doubles while adding 10 homers and 44 RBIs. The sophomore infielder also leads OSU with 43 walks and earlier this season had a 43-game streak of reaching base safely, which ranks in the top 10 in the Big 12 since 2003 and is the longest by a Cowboy since 2007.
Rhodes has been one of OSU's most consistent pitchers whether as a reliever or a starter. The sophomore right-hander is 4-2 with a pair of saves in 20 appearances, 15 of those out of the bullpen.
Three of Rhodes' wins and both of his saves came in Big 12 play; he started on each of the final four weekends of conference action and picked up a pair of wins along the way.
