What 2 Watch 4
• Oklahoma State's men's golf team will seek its 13th Big 12 title this week when it begins play at the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
• Overall, the Cowboys have won 57 league titles and have produced 50 individual champions since the program's first season in 1947.
• The defending NCAA and Big 12 champions have won three times this year, finished second on three occasions and have been in the top five in nine of their 11 starts.
• OSU enters play ranked No. 6 in the most recent National Collegiate Golf Rankings.
• In victory a year ago, Stout won his second consecutive individual Big 12 title and was joined in the top 10 by Fang (T5) and Lee (9th). Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson shared 14th place and Lane tied for 17th place.
• Two years ago, Stout tied for first and Lane shared 34th place as freshmen.
The Lineup
•The Cowboys will start juniors Preston Stout, Ethan Fang, Eric Lee and Gaven Lane as well as sophomore Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson. Redshirt freshman Collin Bond will serve as the squad's substitute.
• Stout has won three times in OSU's last five starts with victories at the Cabo Collegiate, Maridoe Collegiate and the Mountaineer Invitational. He also finished third at the Pauma Valley Invitational during that stretch.
• Fang has a pair of victories with wins at The Carmel Cup and shared medalist honors with Stout at Maridoe Golf Club. The junior has finished in the top 10 in two of his last three starts and competed at The Masters this spring as well.
• Lee notched consecutive top 10s to start his junior campaign and his best finish came earlier this spring at the Maridoe where he tied for fourth place.
• Lane has three top 10s on the year, including a runner-up showing at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational last fall.
• Falhberg-Johnsson has a top 20 to his credit, tying for 19th at The Clerico in his first start of the year.

OSU At The Big 12 Championship
• The Cowboys have 12 Big 12 crowns to their credit. OSU won three of the first four tournaments, finishing atop the leaderboard in 1997, 1998 and 2000. The Cowboys' next league title came in 2005 before reeling off five-straight victories from 2007-2011. OSU claimed No. 10 in 2019 in the first-ever Big 12 Championship contested at The Greenbrier before repeating in 2021 with a one-shot victory at Prairie Dunes. OSU's most recent title came last year at Southern Hills Country Club.
• In addition to its 57 overall conference titles, OSU has 11 runner-up finishes, four third-place showings, a pair of fourth-place finishes, three fifth-place finishes and has finished sixth once.

Two years ago, Preston Stout won his first Big 12 crown, holing a 30-foot birdie putt on the final hole at Whispering Pines to join the list. He would repeat last year in Tulsa, becoming just the second player in league history to go back-to-back (Ludvig Aberg).
• On four occasions in Big 12 play, the Cowboys have produced the medalist and runner-up with Charles Howell and Edward Loar going 1-2 in 2000 followed by Pablo Martin and Ryan Posey in 2007, Rickie Fowler and Kevin Tway in 2008 and Morgan Hoffmann and Tway in 2011.
