April 02, 2026 | Cowboy Golf
IRVING, Texas – After sharing medalist honors at the Maridoe Collegiate this past week, Oklahoma State's Ethan Fang and Preston Stout were tabbed as Co-Big 12 Golfers of the Week it was announced today by the league office.
Fang and Stout were the lone two players in the field at Maridoe Golf Club to break par for the week, finishing at 1-under 215. The shared medalist honors marked the first time OSU has had co-medalists since Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff did so at the 2018 Royal Oaks Intercollegiate.
The duo helped OSU finish 18 shots clear of the field in the team race on the way to the Cowboys' third team title of the year.
For Fang, the win was his second of the year after his victory at The Carmel Cup in the season opener last fall.
Stout was victorious for the second time in three starts after winning the Cabo Collegiate. He now has five career victories to his credit.
Fang was previously named golfer of the month in September, while Stout earned the weekly honor on March 5.
