TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 276 during the third round of action at the Big 12 Championship on Wednesday to move into first place at Southern Hills Country Club.
The Cowboys' 4-under tally gave them a 54-hole total of 841 and put them six shots clear of Arizona State heading into tomorrow's final round at the par-70, 7,556-yard layout.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad will be looking to capture the program's 12th Big 12 title and its 57th conference title overall. Its most recent league crown came in 2021 at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
OSU's charge was led by Eric Lee, who fired a bogey-free 66 to climb into a tie for fourth place at 210 and finish the day as one of four Cowboys inside the top 10. Lee's opening nine consisted of a birdie at the fourth and eight pars. He would go on to par the first three holes of his inward nine before reeling off three consecutive birdies at Nos. 13, 14 and 15 before recording pars over his final three holes.
Joining Lee at 210 was sophomore Preston Stout, who carded his third consecutive 70.
Stout, who won the event last year, and Lee will begin their final rounds just one shot off the lead held by a trio of players.
Sophomore Ethan Fang carded a 70 of his own to finish the day in sole possession of ninth place at 212.
Sophomore Gaven Lane carded a 70 as well and wrapped up the day in a three-way tie for 10th place at 214.
