Cowboys Set For Action At Fighting Irish Classic
October 05, 2025 | Cowboy Golf
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will compete for the third time this fall when it takes part in the Fighting Irish Classic at Notre Dame's Warren Golf Course this week.
OSU will be one of 15 teams in action at the par-71, 7,020-yard layout. The field will play 36 holes on Monday followed by Tuesday's final round.
The Cowboys are coming off their first victory of the season after erasing a 10-shot deficit at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational. OSU opened its campaign with a runner-up showing at the Carmel Cup and has finished first or second in 12 of its last 13 starts.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad will be without the services of three staples in its lineup with All-Americans Ethan Fang and Preston Stout as well as Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson heading to Singapore to compete at the World Amateur Team Championships. Fang and Stout will represent the United States, while Fahlberg-Johnsson will compete for Sweden.
The trio will be in action Oct. 8-11 at Tanah Merah Country Club's Tampines Course.
Competing for the Cowboys this week will be juniors Eric Lee and Gaven Lane as well as senior John Wild and redshirt freshmen Collin Bond and Brady Catalano.
Live scoring for the event will be available at scoreboard.clippd.com.
