25 Cowboys Named to Spring Academic All-Big 12 Team

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's track & field led the conference with 67 total athletes named on the 2024 Spring Academic All-Big 12 teams, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Cowgirls' 42 individual honorees was the most in the conference in any sport, with the Cowboys adding 25 honorees.
On the men's side, Blair Anderson, Tate Barr, Kade Benjamin*, Ben Calusinski, Kian Davis, James Edmond, Philip Frank*, Wyatt Landis, Alex Maier, Sam Mason, Riley McGowan, Daniel Nickell, Jonas Price, Triston Read, Zac Robbins, Ryan Schoppe, Crayton Shaw, Victor Shitsama, Alex Stitt and Grant Wilcox all earned first team honors. Hafez Mahadi, Fouad Messaoudi, Will Muirhead, Sebastian Pesante and Mehdi Yanouri were all named to the second team.
For the Cowgirls, Katie Armstrong, Sivan Auerbach*, Brooke Bayles, Molly Born*, Cayden Brickman, Emily Carter*, Katie Chapman, Cayden Dawson*, Heidi Demeo, Gabija Galvydyte, Bailey Golden*, Saara Hakanen*, Maddie Hanger, Gabby Hentemann, Payton Hinkle, Molly Humes*, Billah Jepkirui, Lilly Lavier*, Emma Lindsey, Jinane Mahi, Cameron McConnell, Maddie Meiner*, Annie Molenhouse, Stephanie Moss, Rachel Neaves*, Aubrey O'Connell, Johnna Orange, Abby Pickett, Grace Ping, Kaylie Politza, Krystal Rodriguez, Taylor Roe*, Maddie Salek*, Jenna Sanders, Ansley Scott, Kevriana Scott, Sarah Stair, Colleen Stegmann, Madi Surber*, Olivija Vaitaityte and Tamara Woodley each earned first team honors. Winny Bii was named to the second team.

A total of 505 student-athletes were named to the 2024 Academic All-Big 12 Track & Field teams. First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
