Cowboy Golf To Compete At Las Vegas Regional

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team was selected to compete at the Las Vegas Regional it was announced today by the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee.
The Cowboys will be the four seed at Bear's Best Las Vegas and will be one of 14 teams in action at the site.
Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 15-17. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.
Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 26-31 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Arizona State and The Thunderbirds are the hosts for the 2023 championships.
The Cowboys have won six consecutive regional titles after their triumph last season at the NCAA Columbus Regional at the Scarlet Course. Additionally, OSU has won seven regional titles in eight tries under the direction of head coach Alan Bratton.
OSU leads the nation with 16 regional titles, seven more than the second-best total.
Individually, Eugenio Chacarra wrapped up medalist honors at last year's regional to become the 12th Cowboy to do so.
Overall, the Cowboys have qualified for the NCAA Championship in 74 of a possible 75 seasons.
