September 08, 2022 | Cowboy Wrestling
STILLWATER – John Smith and the Oklahoma State wrestling staff have announced the dates of October 14-15 for OSU Wrestling's annual fall coaches clinic.
Coaches attending the clinic will receive 10 hours of instruction from the OSU staff through seminars and technique sessions over the span of two days. On top of fundamental wrestling instructions, seminar topics include strength and conditioning training, academic requirements for athletes, and health and safety for student athletes.
Presenters for the clinic include six-time World and Olympic champion wrestler and five-time NCAA champion head coach, John Smith, along with the rest of the OSU staff including Zack Esposito, Chris Perry, Tyler Caldwell, Gary Wayne Harding and Chandler Rogers.
Two meals will be provided as part of the clinic, including a dinner and social event with the staff on Friday night. Coaches will also have the opportunity to interact with the Cowboys during practices and in the brand-new OSU wrestling locker room.
Registration for the camp begins at $200 for the first coach, with each additional coach being $150 during the pre-registration deal that is available until the end of September. After Sept. 30, the price will increase to $225 for one coach and $175 for additional coaches.
Registration forms and a tentative schedule can be found here on okstate.com.
