Cowboy Baseball’s Campbell Joins Elite Company

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State's Justin Campbell is the 12th player in program history to be a multiple-time All-American.
Campbell was named to the 2022 Collegiate Baseball All-America Second Team, achieving that honor for the second consecutive year. He is OSU's first two-time All-American since Corey Brown and Tyler Mach reached that status in 2006-07.
A right-hander from Simi Valley, Calif., Campbell is 9-2 with a 3.43 ERA in 15 starts this season; he has tossed two complete games and opponents are hitting just .212 against him. In 94 1/3 innings, he has tallied 133 strikeouts, a total that ranks fifth nationally and is the seventh most in a single season in OSU history.
Campbell has posted double-digit strikeout totals six times this season and has struck out at least eight in 11 of his 15 starts, including a career-high 14 punchouts against TCU.
A Golden Spikes Award semifinalist and an All-Big 12 First Team performer, Campbell's 257 career strikeouts rank ninth on OSU's all-time list. He has recorded 100 strikeouts each of the last two seasons, becoming just the fourth Cowboy hurler to reach that milestone twice.
