Cowboys Post Runner-Up Showing At Haskins Invite

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team registered its third runner-up showing of the season on Sunday afternoon, finishing second at the Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club.
During their third round, the Cowboys posted a 2-under tally of 286 to finish at 24-under 840. Texas was victorious at the par-72, 7,086-yard layout with an 814 total. Illinois finished in third place at 848.
The Longhorns produced the event's medalist as well with Pierceson Coody carding a 17-under total of 199 to finish six shots clear of the field.
OSU's Eugenio Chacarra was among a trio of players to finish tied for second place at 205. The Cowboy senior posted his second consecutive 70 to get to his 11-under total.
This spring, Chacarra has now finished among the top five in four of OSU's six starts.
Joining Chacarra in the top 10 was classmate Aman Gupta, who tied for ninth place at 209. Gupta closed with a 73 to finish at 7-under for the event and earn his third consecutive top 10.
Bo Jin maintained his position, tying for 11th place after carding a 71 for the second round in a row. The sophomore finished with a 6-under total of 210.
Senior Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen closed with a 72 to rise seven spots into a tie for 27th place at 218.
Junior Rayhan Thomas finished with an 81 to get in with a 227 total and tied for 61st place.
