Cowboys Finish Seventh At Cabo Collegiate

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – Oklahoma State's men's golf team closed with a 282 during its final round at the Cabo Collegiate on Tuesday to finish in seventh place at Cabo Del Sol's Cove Club Course.
The Cowboys entered the day tied for the lead before dipping six spots with their 2-under closing round. OSU finished with a 20-under-par total of 832 at the par-71, 6,807-yard layout. Vanderbilt vaulted four spots into the top spot with a closing 265 to finish at 820 and two shots clear of the field.
Vanderbilt also produced the individual medalist in Cole Sherwood, who fired a 61 during his third round to finish at 17-under 196 and four shots better than the field.
Eugenio Chacarra logged his third consecutive top 10 to start the spring, holding down the No. 9 position. The senior closed with a 69 to finish at 9-under 204 for the event.
Sophomore Bo Jin carded his second consecutive 69 to remain in a tie for 12th place, finishing at 7-under 206.
Junior Brian Stark closed with a 71 to finish among the group at 206 as well.
Junior Rayhan Thomas' 75 tied him for 62nd place at 220, while sophomore Jonas Baumgartner rounded out the starting five with a 73 to finish alone in 69th place at 222.
