Cowboys Roll To Fifth Consecutive NCAA Regional Crown

Final Results
STILLWATER–Oklahoma State's men's golf team used the low round of the day to pull away from the field on Tuesday and claim its fifth consecutive regional title, winning the NCAA Stillwater Regional by 14 shots at Karsten Creek.
The streak, which also includes a win at Karsten Creek in 2016, also adds to OSU's NCAA-best 15 regional titles overall. Additionally, the Cowboys have won four of their last five starts and have five wins on the season.
OSU finished the 54-hole event on its home course with a 28-under total of 836, which bested Illinois by 14 shots. The Cowboys' 277 final round was the low round of the day by 12 shots as well.
SMU, Sam Houston and Little Rock advanced from the region in addition to OSU and Illinois.
SMU's Noah Goodwin claimed medalist honors with his 15-under total of 201.
For the second consecutive outing, OSU's Bo Jin logged a runner-up finish, posting a closing 68 to finish at 9-under 207. The Cowboy freshman was the Big 12 runner-up last month as well.
Jin was joined in the top 10 by a pair of Cowboys as sophomore Eugenio Chacarra climbed into a tie for third place at 211 after carding his second consecutive 70.
Junior Austin Eckroat was a stroke back after posting his second 71 in a row to finish at 212 and alone in seventh place.
Sophomore Aman Gupta tied for 14th place at 217 after posting a 73 during his final round.
After entering the lineup for yesterday's second round, Brian Stark followed his 65 with a 68 on Tuesday.
