Cowboys Fourth Heading Into Final Round In Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted its second consecutive 283 total on Saturday at the Seminole Intercollegiate to stand in fourth place through 36 holes at Golden Eagle Country Club.
The Cowboys' 10-under total of 566 is one shot back of Oklahoma for third place at the par-72, 6,965-yard layout. Liberty holds the No. 2 spot at 561, while host Florida State finished the day at 17-under 559.
Liberty's Alexandre Fuchs fired his second consecutive 65 to lead the individual race by six shots with his 14-under score of 130.
OSU freshman Bo Jin shot up the leaderboard with his 6-under 66 on Saturday. He stands at 7-under 137 and tied for third place. Jin started his day on the back nine and opened with a birdie at the 10th. After posting a bogey at the 11th, he reeled off four consecutive birdies on Nos. 13-16. He followed a bogey at the 17th with another birdie at the 18th to turn in 4-under 32.
He moved to 5-under on the day with a birdie at the fourth before adding another at the seventh hole. Jin offset a bogey at the eighth with his ninth birdie of the day at the par-5 ninth hole.
Sophomore Eugenio Chacarra followed an opening 68 with an even-par 72 to finish at 140 and tied for ninth place.
Junior Austin Eckroat signed for a 74 and is tied for 28th place at 144, while freshman Brian Stark carded a 1-under 71 to come in at 145 and tied for 31st place.
Senior Ferdinand Müller rounded out the lineup with a 75 to stand at 152 and tied for 65th place.
The Cowboys will begin their final round tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with NC State and South Florida.
