Cowboys Finish Third At Colonial

Final Results
FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team wrapped up play on Tuesday at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational where the Cowboys tied for third place at Colonial Country Club.
The Cowboys carded a closing 1-under 279 to finish at 3-over 843 and tied with Wake Forest. Oklahoma was second at 838. Stanford used an 11-under 269 during its final round to climb four spots into first place with an 837 total at the par-70, 7,204-yard layout.
Wake Forest's Michael Brennan carded an 11-under total of 199 to finish six shots clear of the field in the individual race.
Junior Brian Stark continued his strong fall, finishing alone in sixth place for OSU after carding a 67 during his final round to finish at 2-under 208. The Cowboy junior posted a pair of birdies on his outward nine en route to an even-par 35. He birdied the 10th and 12th to move to 2-under for the day before carding his lone bogey of the second nine at No. 13. He would tack on birdies at the 16th and the 18th to get to his 3-under total.
The finish marked the third consecutive top 10 for Stark, who tied for third place at The Carmel Cup and shared fifth place at the Fighting Illini Invitational.
Senior Eugenio Chacarra closed with a 69 to move into a tie for 13th place at 212. He was joined at 2-over by senior Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, who carded a closing 71 to get to his 212 tally.
Senior Aman Gupta made it three Cowboys at 212 after signing for a 72 on Tuesday.
Senior Leo Oyo also carded a 72 during his final round to finish at 214 and tied for 25th place.
