Cowboys Remain Fifth At Pebble Beach

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 3-over score of 363 on Saturday at The Carmel Cup to stand in a tie for fifth place at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

The Cowboys, who stand at 8-over 728 through 36 holes, will begin their final round tied with TCU at the par-72, 6,828-yard layout. Oklahoma leads the event with a 21-under score of 699, while Texas Tech is two shots back at 701.

Individually, OU's Garett Reband paces the field with a 9-under total of 135.

OSU senior Ferdinand Müller followed an opening 69 with a 72, tying him for 13^th place with a 141 total.

Brian Stark, one of three freshmen in the starting lineup for the Cowboys this weekend, carded a 73 during his second round to stand in a tie for 22^nd place at 145.

Junior Austin Eckroat shaved four shots off his opening 75, posting a 1-under 71 to come in tied for 25^th place at 146.

Freshman Rayhan Thomas also posted a 71 to join his teammate at 146.

Sophomore Aman Gupta carded a 76 on Saturday, giving him a 150 total and tying him for 37^th place.

Freshman Dillon Stewart's 77 gave him a 158 total and tied him for 46^th place

The Cowboys will begin their final round tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. (PST) and will be grouped with TCU, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. Live scoring for the event is available at golfstat.com.
