Cowboys Earn All-America Status

NORMAN, Okla. — Oklahoma State's men's golf team added to its list of All-Americans on Thursday with Austin Eckroat garnering third-team status and Zach Bauchou earning honorable mention recognition it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The duo joins former Cowboys Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff, who were both named first-team selections last month. Hovland and Wolff both made their professional debuts today at the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship.
Overall, the Cowboys have now had 185 selections in program history.
Eckroat, who was an honorable mention pick a year ago, was honored once again after putting together a campaign that saw him tally six top 10s. The rising junior was victorious at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate and posted top 10s at both the NCAA Louisville Regional and the NCAA Championship.
A senior for last year's squad, Bauchou was honored for the third time in his career. In 2018-19, the Forest, Va., native had three top 10s, tying for 10th place at the Fighting Illini Invitational, posting a runner-up finish at the Amer Ari Invitational and closing his career with an eighth-place showing at the NCAA Championship.
