Cowboy Baseball Mourns Loss Of Tracy Freeny

STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State baseball standout Tracy Freeny recently passed away unexpectedly at the age of 74.
An Oklahoma City native, Freeny was a second baseman and two-year letterwinner in 1965 and 1966 for head coach Chet Bryan's Cowboys. He was a starter on OSU's 1966 College World Series ballclub that finished as the NCAA runner-up.
Freeny recorded five doubles, a triple, a home run and 18 RBIs over his two seasons in an OSU uniform as the Cowboys posted a 35-22 record during that span.

A service celebrating the life of Freeny will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26 at the Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City (14343 N MacArthur Blvd). The family has requested to wear bright colors to honor Tracy's Life!
