Isai Rodriguez is set to make his indoor debut. He is coming off a historic cross country season in which he finished fourth at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Throws/Multis/Pole Vault Coach Josh Langley on the Meet
On his expectations for the Razorback Invitational
"It's the first big test of the year. We're expecting our kids to go out there and compete and continue to improve their marks and times. This week, you're going to see stiffer competition than in weeks past, so we're looking for them to step up their competition."
On the Cowgirl DMR team in Washington
"I think it's a chance to get on an oversized track, which is a huge benefit to distance runners. It's good for them to get up there and go compete against some of the better DMR teams. It seems a lot of teams are going up there looking to qualify, so that's the goal: to qualify for nationals and check that box, so to speak, so then they can focus on their individual events."
Distance Medley Masters
The OSU women's distance medley relay team opens up in Seattle this weekend with hopes of earning an NCAA qualifying time.
The Cowgirls bring back most of their DMR team, losing only Ambra Wesley, who ran the 400-meter leg of the race. All-Americans Kaylee Dodd and Molly Sughroue, and Big 12 champions Ariane Ballner and Abbie Hetherington all return.
Stepping into the 400-meter role figures to be Nicolette Dixon. She has been a leader in the sprints group and is a member of the third-best 4X400-meter relay team in school history. Her personal best entering 2019 in the 400 meters is 54.24.
Not only did the Cowgirls reload in the sprints, they have also added dynamic firepower in Sinclaire Johnson.
Johnson had a breakout outdoor season in 2018. She made it to the NCAA Championships in the 1,500 meters and won two races during the most recent cross country campaign.
The group of Dixon, Dodd, Hetherington, Johnson and Sughroue has combined for nine All-American honors, five conference titles and 25 All-Big 12 honors.
This experienced group figures to be in the mix for a victory in Washington.
Rodriguez Returns
Isai Rodriguez is set to return at the Razorback Invitational this weekend.
The redshirt-freshman is coming off a historic cross country season.
In his first cross country season, the Ringwood, Oklahoma, native finished fourth at the NCAA Championships. His performance resulted in the highest finish ever at the event by an OSU runner.
The last time Rodriguez hit the track was on May 26 when he ran the 5,000 meters at the NCAA West Regional. In that race, he ran a 13:53.73, which was good for a 14th-place finish. He missed out on making the NCAA Championships by two spots.
Rodriguez's goals for the indoor season include making a run at a national title in the 3,000 meters, but he is slated to open up with a race in the Mile.
Last indoor season, he ran only two races. Both came in the Mile and his best time clocked in at 4:10.26. A qualifying mark in the Mile is likely going to be under 4:00, so Rodriguez will have to trim his personal best to get in qualifying position.
