Cowboys Set To Begin Play In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Fresh off an impressive victory at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate last week, Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be back in action this week when it begins play at the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
Contested at Southern Highlands Golf Club, the third-ranked Cowboys will be one of 15 teams in action at the par-72, 7,510-yard layout. The event will consist of 54 holes over three days with 18 being played each day from Monday through Wednesday.
OSU will go with the same starting five that rolled to a 10-shot victory last week in Mexico for win No. 3 on the year for the Cowboys.
Senior Zachary Olsen will be joined by junior Kristoffer Ventura, sophomores Zach Bauchou and Hayden Wood as well as freshman Viktor Hovland in the lineup. All five Cowboys enter the week ranked in the top 60 with Bauchou, (No. 32), Ventura (No. 37) and Wood (No. 38) all standing in the top 40. Olsen carries a No. 52 ranking, while Hovland stands at No. 58.
The Cowboys will be grouped with Illinois and Southern California for their first round and will begin play at 10:40 a.m. (PST).
