Cowboys Rally To Victory In Georgia

Final Results
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team fired a 14-under 274 during its final round at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate on Sunday to rally for its second victory of the fall.
Competing at the Golf Club of Georgia's Lakeside Course, the Cowboys closing round was the day's best score by seven shots and erased a 10-shot deficit. OSU started the day in fifth place before using its third-round tally to finish at 27-under 837 and three shots clear of Texas.
The victory was OSU's second in three events this fall and marked the first time the Cowboys have won the tournament since their victory in 2013. OSU capped its strong charge playing the final four holes bogey free and playing the final two holes 4-under par, including three birdies at the par-5 18th.
The Longhorns did produce the individual medalist in Doug Ghim, who finished with a 203 total and one shot clear of OSU's Matthew Wolff.
Wolff led the Cowboys' Sunday charge, finishing with a 5-under 67 to rise five spots into sole possession of second place, earning his first career top five. The freshman opened with an eagle-birdie start and made the turn at 3-under 33 after posting birdies at Nos. 8 and 9. After carding seven consecutive pars on his back nine, Wolff closed with a pair of birdies.
Zach Bauchou notched a top-five showing of his own, signing for a 68 to tie for fifth place at 208. The junior birdied his first four holes of the day and added birdies at Nos. 8 and 9 to turn in 5-under 31.
Sophomore Viktor Hovland posted his low round of the event, finishing with a 69 to tie for 12th place with a 211 total.
Junior Nick Heinen shared 44th place at 216 after closing with a 72.
Junior Hayden Wood's 70 moved him into a tie for 63rd place at 221.
