Cowboy Baseball Senior Salute: Jon Perrin

Jon Perrin pitched four seasons in an Oklahoma State uniform, and the right-hander proved to be a workhorse on the mound for the Cowboys. A native of Olathe, Kansas, Perrin was a part of three NCAA Tournament teams, along the way helping OSU host two NCAA Regionals, win the program's first-ever Big 12 Conference regular season championship and advance to the third NCAA Super Regional in school history.
Here's a list of some of Perrin's notable individual accomplishments during his career in Stillwater:
• Made 65 appearances, one shy of cracking the top 10 on OSU's career list
• Started 35 games and tossed a pair of complete games
• Made 29 starts over his final two seasons
• Went 18-9 with a 3.18 ERA
• Recorded two career shutouts
• Racked up 200 strikeouts in 240.1 innings of work
• Named to the 2014 All-Big 12 Conference First Team and was also an ABCA All-Midwest Region Second Team selection
• Ranked in the top in the Big 12 in wins, ERA, strikeouts, shutouts, innings pitched and complete games in 2014
• Drafted in the 27th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers after being a 33rd-round pick of the Detroit Tigers in 2014
• A three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree
• 2015 Senior CLASS Award candidate
