Cowboys Remain In Top 10

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State baseball remains in the top 10 of the national rankings for a second-straight week this week. The Cowboys went 2-2 last week, including a 24-2 midweek trouncing of Oklahoma.
A week after re-entering the top 10 at No. 9 in the Collegiate Baseball poll, the Cowboys fell one spot to 10th in that publication's ranking. OSU has now been ranked in the top 10 six weeks in 2015.
OSU is also ranked in five other polls this week, including:
· No. 14 by the NCBWA and in the USA Today Coaches Poll
· No. 15 by D1Baseball.com
· No. 17 by Baseball America and Perfect Game
Dating back to 2013, OSU has been nationally ranked for 42 consecutive weeks. The Cowboys were ranked as high as No. 5 (by Collegiate Baseball) in the 2015 preseason polls.
OSU is one of four Big 12 Conference teams, along with TCU, Oklahoma and Texas Tech, in the national rankings this week, and is the second-highest ranked of those teams behind the Horned Frogs.
Coach Josh Holliday's Cowboys are 24-11 overall on the season entering tonight's contest against Oral Roberts at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, and OSU is atop the Big 12 Conference standings with an 8-4 mark.
