Cowboys Make Move In Rankings

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Coming off a road series win against top-ranked TCU last weekend in Fort Worth, Oklahoma State baseball moved up in several national polls this week.
The Cowboys made the biggest jump in the Collegiate Baseball poll, moving from No. 19 to No. 12, while in the NCBWA poll head coach Josh Holliday's club moved up two spots from No. 23 to No. 21. OSU also returned to the top 25 in both the USA Today Coaches Poll and Baseball America poll as the Pokes are ranked 23rd in each of those rankings.
Dating back to 2013, OSU has been nationally ranked for 39 consecutive weeks. The Cowboys were ranked as high as No. 5 (by Collegiate Baseball) in the 2015 preseason polls and spent the first month of the season in the top 10.
OSU is one of four Big 12 Conference teams, along with TCU, Texas and Texas Tech, in the rankings this week.
Winners of eight of its last nine games, OSU is 16-7 on the season and hosts Wichita State tonight at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium before a weekend home series against Kansas State.
