Cowboy Baseball Remains Ranked In Top 10

Oklahoma State is ranked in the top 10 in at least one national poll for the ninth consecutive week following an opening weekend that saw the Cowboys go 1-2 at Arizona State.
Coach Josh Holliday's ballclub is in the top 10 of two polls this week, coming in at No. 9 in Baseball America and No. 10 in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. OSU is also ranked among the nation's best in three other polls, including:
• 16th by the NCBWA
• 19th by Perfect Game
• 19th by D1Baseball.com
The Cowboys have now been nationally ranked for 34-straight weeks dating back to the 2013 season. OSU was ranked as high as No. 5 (by Collegiate Baseball) in the 2015 preseason polls.
OSU is one of five Big 12 Conference teams that finds itself in the rankings. Others include TCU, which is the top-ranked club in the Collegiate Baseball poll, as well as Texas Tech, Texas and Baylor. Baseball America has four Big 12 teams - TCU, OSU, Texas Tech and Texas - in its top 10.
The Cowboys return to action Thursday when they open play in the Big 12/Pac-12 Challenge against Oregon State in Surprise, Ariz.
