Cowboys Look To Extend Streak In Florida

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team will look to extend its winning streak to four consecutive events this week when it begins play at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational at Sawgrass Country Club.
The third-ranked Cowboys are coming off a 12-shot victory at the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawaii in their spring opener. They have won three events in a row after closing the fall with triumphs at the U.S. Collegiate and the Royal Oaks Invitational.
Individually, sophomore Jordan Niebrugge earned his first career victory in Hawaii.
OSU will be one of 14 teams in action at the par-72, 7,001-yard layout this week. The 54-hole event will get underway on Sunday and run through Tuesday with 18 holes being played each day. The Cowboys will be grouped with North Florida and Tennessee during the first round and will begin play at 10:15 a.m. (EST).
OSU's starting five will consist of seniors Ian Davis and Talor Gooch, Niebrugge, redshirt freshman Wyndham Clark and freshman Zachary Olsen. Senior Kevin Dougherty will compete individually.
