Two Cowboys Earn All-America Status

NORMAN, Okla. - Two members of the Oklahoma State men's golf team were honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday with Ian Davis and Jordan Niebrugge both being named PING honorable mention All-Americans.
Davis was recognized after making 13 starts for the Cowboys as a junior. The Edmond, Okla., native tallied four top-10 finishes, including his first career victory at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate. Davis also tied for sixth at the Jack Nicklaus Invitational and tied for fifth place at the Big 12 Championship en route to earning all-conference honors.
He closed out the year with a top 10 at the NCAA Championship where he tied for eighth.
As a freshman, Niebrugge made 14 starts for OSU and finished with a pair of runner-up showings to his credit. The Mequon, Wis., native tied for second at The Prestige at PGA West and also finished second at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate.
Niebrugge had three other top 10s during his rookie year, tying for seventh at the Don Puckette Invitational, tying for fifth place at the Linger Longer Invitational and tying for 10th place at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional.
