OSU Track & Field Completes Competition In Waco

Three top-four finishes from field athletes were the highlights of the day for the Oklahoma State track and field teams at the Michael Johnson Classic, in Waco, Texas, on Saturday.
On the men's side, Taylor Buck took second place in the high jump, clearing 2.10m/6-10.75. He cleared the same height as the winner, but took one more try to do so, which was the tiebreaker.
In the evening edition of the 800 meters, Tyler Payton took fifth place, finishing in 1:52.17. Lance Gray ran a 1:54.08 to take eighth.
On the women's side, Chase Ealey took third place in the shot put, with a mark of 15.80m/51-10.0, and in the hammer throw, Caitlin Way posted a 54.37m/178-04 to take fourth place.
The OSU track and field teams will be back in action next weekend, April 27-28, at the Arkansas Invitational, in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Payton Jordan Invitational, in Palo Alto, Calif.
