Two Cowboys Tie For First In Louisiana

CALHOUN, La. - Four members of the Oklahoma State men's golf team competed individually this week at the ULM/Wallace Jones Invitational at Southern Pines Country Club's Calvert Crossing Course.
Juniors Brad Gehl and Sam Lee finished in a three-way tie for first place with Sam Houston State's Albert Miner at 3-over 219, who eventually defeated the Cowboy duo in a playoff.
Gehl posted rounds of 72, 73 and 74, while Lee's total came courtesy of rounds of 75, 74 and 70.
Junior Karsten Majors tied for 12th after carding a 227 total that included rounds of 76, 77 and 74.
Sophomore Tanner Kesterson posted rounds of 74, 77 and 81 to finish at 232 and tied for 27th place.
