Cowboys Earn No. 2 Seed At Big 12 Baseball Championship

IRVING, Texas  Oklahoma State is the No. 2 seed in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Baseball Championship and will open play in the tourney Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against No. 7-seed Kansas State.
The tournament is a pool play format and will be played at the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City. The Cowboys are in Pool 2, which also includes third-seeded Nebraska and sixth-seeded Baylor.
OSU will face Baylor Friday at 7:30 p.m. and close out pool play Saturday at 4 p.m. against Nebraska.
Texas A&M is the tourney's top seed and will be in Pool 1 along with fourth-seeded Missouri, fifth-seeded Texas and No. 8-seed Oklahoma.
The teams with the best records from their respective pools will meet in Sunday's championship game, which is scheduled for 1 p.m.
